Cajun Steak Slices in Rigatoni with Parmesan Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeye steaks, sliced thinly

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Rigatoni & Sauce:

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Cook the rigatoni
    Boil rigatoni in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.

  • Cook the steak
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • Prepare the sauce
    In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir in parmesan cheese and smoked paprika. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.

  • Combine everything
    Add the cooked rigatoni and steak slices to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly. Use reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.

  • Serve
    Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan cheese. Serve immediately for a rich, flavorful meal.
